Our Leader / Founder
PKB Consulting LLC is led by Pete Berntson, a seasoned leader with deep experience guiding organizations through transition and growth. Pete holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, combining a strong technical and business foundation with more than 20 years of service as a pastor leading churches of various sizes across South Carolina.
Before entering full-time ministry, Pete worked in both start-up environments and Fortune 50 companies, gaining firsthand experience in innovation, growth, and the challenges of scaling organizations of all sizes. This breadth of experience allows him to understand both the agility required of smaller teams and the systems needed for large-scale operations.
Drawing on this diverse background, Pete integrates strategic thinking, financial insight, and technical expertise with the relational skills necessary to lead people and organizations through change. His work spans nonprofit leadership, financial oversight, operational improvement, and audio/visual/lighting design.
With a rare blend of corporate experience, entrepreneurial perspective, and pastoral leadership, Pete partners with clients as a trusted advisor who brings clarity and direction.
